Killswitch Engage, From Autumn To Ashes, Every Time I Die etc...Dutkiewicz attended the Berklee School of Music in Boston, where he studied production, engineering, and bass guitar. While at college, he began playing in the band Aftershock with friend Joel Stroetzel. Stroetzel would later join Dutkiewicz, Mike D'Antonio, and Jesse Leach in forming Killswitch Engage. Dutkiewicz was the drummer of Killswitch Engage, until the release of its second album, Alive or Just Breathing, when he moved to guitars, and Tom Gomes became the band's drummer. He has assumed the role of producer on all of Killswitch Engage's records. He has also produced for the bands Underøath, The Acacia Strain, Unearth, All That Remains, From Autumn to Ashes, Johnny Truant, Parkway Drive, The Agony Scene, Every Time I Die and others. Cancer, ISOR, Desecration, SevenyearsDead, 4WayKill, Chokehold, Fony etc...He has also fully engineered several software packages including a ‘Race Car Management System’ for the Lexus British Touring Car racing team. This programming knowledge enables Nick to have a greater than usual understanding of today’s modern Digital Audio Workstations, running the latest software-based recording & sound editing systems, such as Pro Tools and associated plug-ins. Prior to joining he worked extensively recording artists in the field with his mobile recording studio, gaining in-depth knowledge of recording high quality productions in challenging environments. Writing and performing as a drummer for over 12 years, and for the last 5 years in the Brit Metalcore Duo ‘ISOR’, has given Nick a superb musical grounding and allows him to really see the recording process from the working musician’s perspective. Sade, Rock Goddess, Soup Dragons, Sam Brown etc...Pete started his recording career at the age of 12, recording local bands on his dad’s 8 track Neve set up. At 16 he started his apprenticeship in London at the POWERPLANT STUDIOS. There under the guidance of producers such as Robin Miller, Mike Hedges, Chris Tsangerides, Mick Glossip & Alan Shacklock, with technical training from engineers such as Mike Pela & Colin Fairley, he became one of the youngest House engineers in London at the age of 19. With this experience, encompassing everything from rock to orchestral work, Pete has then gone on to produce & engineer a long list of artists, some of which are listed below. As well as production & engineering Pete has performed live & recorded : SAM BROWN, DEEP PERPLE, DAVID GILMOUR (PINK FLOYD), DODGY, ANATHEMA, DENNIS LOCORRIERE (DR HOOK), KATERICHIE, & various overdubs on a lot of the below sessions.
